Hi!
I purchased a Krait Obelisk shard with my left over Festival tokens from the vendor in Queens Gauntlet about 3 days ago. Once I had activated it, I got my daily skill point, charged my 25 crystals, and then left. I came back the next day, after daily reset, and it said I had obtained all I could from this place of power. Now, correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m supposed to be able to get a skill point each day from this Obelisk Shard.
I’ve checked the shard every day after reset and it continues to say that I have already used it. It doesn’t seem to be resetting. Is this happening for anyone else? Could Anet perhaps look into this? I don’t want to have wasted all those tokens :S

no the skill point does not reset daily, you are able to commune with it to recieve a skill point on multiple toons only once. The point of the item is so you can take 25 quartz crystals to a place of power quickly each day to produce a charged quartz crystal.

The Obelisk is useful as a ‘Place of Power’ to create Charged Quartz Crystals (daily). It comes with the added bonus of one, and only one, skill point for each character that interacts with it (once per lifetime).
