I’ve completed Tangled Paths on my Warrior like 3 times already and getting no Carapace chest at the end… trying to unlock the Carapace armour (heavy set).
Take a look at the screenshot. It says it’s completed, look at my inventory I only have 3 of 4 carapace boxes.

The Chest is only gained doing that massive boss, Vinewrath or whatever.
Boots you don’t get from the story as well, this is bought via NPC for 1,000 Crests and 1g.
The other 4 pieces you get from the story. I know this because I already unlocked them on my Elementalist, my main. Doing this again to get the other sets.

If you already got the gloves on your elementalist then there is no bug.
Not all pieces are obtainable from repeating the story on different character.. You can not repeat the story on different characters for additional gloves because the box comes from the achievement for finishing the episode. It is not part of the episode reward.
