WvW, Mists, PvE. Spiking from normal to 2000 or so.

Comcast reported wide spread outages earlier today, might be the issue. Level 3 has also been having some issues in the Dallas, TX area. Also when you are experiencing the ping issues run PingPlotter and it will show you exactly where the issue is. This will point you in the right direction for who you need to contact.

Comcast has been having connectivity issues for longer than just the past 24hrs. Usually, its a connection between two different Comcast hubs that loop over a third party. I’ve gotten so tired of calling them to check the packet losses but recently its been abysmal.

I suspect this outage was actually creeping up on them until a full-blown crash occurred. Would not be surprised it turns out to be a combination of factors they actually can not control vs their own lousy network maintenance.
