since the patch (jan 26) my launcher and my girlfriends forgets the login details. and we have checked the remember boxes.

Same thing happened to me and also my UI changed to medium.

The launcher also forgot the language settings, not just the login details.

This happened to me as well but only once after the 3rd patch. It also reset my UI size back to normal. I keep mine on small.

Same problem for me.

second time:
Reset login and password
Reset language
Reset UI settings
Toon placed to random position

bad thing is… the launcher always starts downloading files for other languages

After downloading and applying the update on 1/27/2016 @ 4:25 pacific, the launcher restarted, and my remembered account email, password, and autologin settings were wiped which required me to input them again. Also, the game’s Interface Size was reset to the default “normal” setting instead of my preferred “small” size.

This is a reoccurring problem for me on the 64-bit client with the smaller hotfix patches. My previous support ticket for a similar issue was “2051176: Laucher Login Information, Graphic Settings, and UI reset after 01-13-2016 patch”. However, the graphic settings remained intact after today’s update except for the interface size.

This is the second time we have had a new build deploy that the client launcher failed to remember my login information even though I had checked both boxes for it.

What gives with this Anet?

So, with the last few builds, I’ve run into the problem where the launcher forgets my account name and password and the “Remember Account Name,” “Remember Password” and “AutoPlay” boxes become unchecked and I have to put them in again. Previously, the launcher would remember these settings and login info and relogging was easy after a new build. Now, less so.

Same issue here. I also set UI size to large and when new build comes, it reset to normal as well.

I think the launcher’s too old. Its memory is going. Soon it will need to be sent to the old folks’ home.

What about my UI size resetting from large to normal though. I would think old folks like bigger UI?

Its memory is going. It forgot it likes the bigger UI. It can no longer read anything in-game without aid of a magnifying glass…

STILL having issues with this. New build just a few moments ago and the 64bit launcher has amnesia? Can’t remember login info even the check boxes are empty?

What is going on Anet?

Gaahh, took me a while to realize that it reset the language and was downloading tons of german files I don’t need instead of the hotfix…

Pretty annoying.

Anet, it appears you still have not fixed the launcher forgetting login details. I just downloaded the new build a few moments ago and had to re-enter everything including the two check marks that I had in those boxes.

Fix this mess please!!!
