Legendary Prec bugs [Merged]
Youve had 2 years. Experimental Dusk, now.
Listen, we’re all anxious for Dusk. But you’re not entitled to anything. There’s no reason to be a jerk about it. It’s a new expansion. ANet are up to their eyeballs in bugs. Give them some slack, okay? I’m sure it’ll be fixed soon.
As he said, this event has been bugged since it came in.. which was waaaaay before this legendary system was even a twinkle in some designers eye. Its nothing to do with this new expansion, they just tied the objective to a broken quest.
Tier 1 collection for the Moot, the Karka Queen Claw hasn’t dropped for me. Did it a few times, different days. I’m under the impression that it’s like the other items, which drop automatically as long as you have the collection available. If it’s not then I guess I’ve misunderstood and I’m just waiting for RNG.

if you look back in this thread on the first page, this was acknowledged by anet and they’re aiming to fix it soon.
For Kudzu 1, the puzzle in the last room of Tears of Itlaocol is bugged, preventing access to the flower in the treasure room. I assume this has something to do with the lighting bug that’s making the entire room (and certain other areas in the game that should be dark) light up like the godkitten ed sun, since I can barely even see the pattern on the statue.

(a) Illuminated Overcharged Quartz (“Use the Luminates Plant in Metric Province to add illumination to a piece of charged quartz”)
(b) Strangely Overcharged Quartz (“Use the Strange Energy Source in Timberline Falls to add some strange energy to a piece of charged quartz”)When I bring a charged quartz crystal to one of these hero points, I don’t get the option to overcharge a crystal, so I can’t get the collection item.
Any news about those 2 bugs???? BUMP!

Tried yesterday. Still no luck.
For Twilight 1 I have 14/15, only needing Modniir’s Ruin. When Modniir’s chest is looted a different achieve drops, not the one for Twilight 1. STUCK! Please include this fix ASAP!
Meteorlogicus I: The Experimental Scepter
It all went fine until one item left for the first tier collection. It’s the Soothing Mist one. You are supposed to wait for nighttime in Queensdale and a Lady in White will eventually come and start a quest. Once the quest is started you need to escort The Lady to her house. On the way of escorting her mist appears, however there is no way to interact with it. On the exit of the cemetery she will rage and start fighting you and once she is dead she drops a 4 slot bag and some coppers and the mist disperses. So far i had 4 tries and none were successful. I will be looking forward for a response.
The Moot I:
Giant Shark Tooth – only available from a quest chain that involves failing 2 events. The first event in the chain, http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Prevent_krait_from_kidnapping_Okarinoo_quaggans is nearly impossible to fail. The krait do not always capture the quaggans, they kill some of them. Once a quaggan is killed, it appear they will always be killed and never captured. Even if that were not the case, the quaggan can defend themselves rather well and frequently kill the krait faster than they can be killed.
Reef Drake Broodmother Scale – killed the http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Reef_Drake_Broodmother in Southsun multiple times and have not gotten the drop. Every other collection item seems to be first time gauranteed, soI’m assuming this is a bug.
Did any1 think about how funny it is, that for Twilight 1 you have to run around in several maps, waiting for broken / meta events, world bosses, going to fractal 3 times etc etc etc, while for Biforst 1 basically u just WP 20 times, kill 100 low lvl Jotuns and you are done.

Problem identified first week into launch and we were told “hopefully it should be fixed soon”. Well, Halloween removal patch and what comes with it. Gem store BS. More ways to give Anet $$. While what I already paid for, continues to be “bugged”. Then you release a statement of looking forward to the end of 2015 and write that “at this time bug patches and balancing will be released in less frequent, limited bundles”… This is a very sad way to get people to “want” to play your game for a long period of time. Promise people something you know they want, but then not give it to them. Dangle it right in front of their nose, 14/15 completion, let them get a taste… just sick. It’s obvious what’s going on now, if you’re still backing Anet up on this, wake up. I’m excited to see the chunk of players fade when big name games (that work and provide what was advertised) get released these upcoming months. Honestly, that is probably Anet’s plan. Let casual players fade then allow dedicated players the opportunities that were originally promised. When you already got the $$, you can do whatever and take however long you wish. Just 1 question that many of us want to know. When will Modniir’s Ruin item drop for Vol 1 of dusk crafting be fixed? It has been more than a week since this issue was identified.

Sorry, but I just don’t get this. We PAID for something. And it is broken. If it were a car, and you took it back to the place you bought it, would you just accept the response, “We know what’s wrong. Hopefully it will be working soon.” Of course not! You’d want to speak to a manager, ask for a refund, and take your business elsewhere.
Why should we, the customers, have to wait for a working product THAT WE ALREADY PAID FOR? I understand there is other content. And I intend to keep playing. But that isn’t the point. Anet needs to make some sort of formal apology to those of us who purchased a broken product, along with some kind of compensation for our trouble. That’s called customer service. And right now I’m not seeing it.
Playing with my new Revenant and doing the Legendary weapon collections. I see that we should receive a “Trophy” that is account bound for each objective done, so far, I am doing The Juggernaut I: The experimental hammer, and I am not receiving any trophies from the objectives, so far I did 7/32 and got 0 trophies.
Is anyone also having this issue, are you receiving your “Trophy” for each objective ?

I have a bug with the Moot collection – there’s an item to collect from the Reef Drake Broodmother in Southsun Cove, but that enemy does not actually die and leave a corpse. It goes invulnerable, then runs over to a predefined area and drops a world chest. I’ve killed it 3 times and it doesn’t drop its scale (because the drake drops nothing and can’t be looted).
Just so you know if you head north to the Southsun Straight top left of the map and on an island where the Kill the Champion Wind Rider event takes place you will find some reef drakes and a broodmother there and she does in fact drop the item

Kudzu III – Fertilized with Compost
Several hundred heirloom seed pouches later and no drop. Rest of collection is finished but this last part is impossible to complete, sealing the deal on finishing the legendary.
Would love for someone to prove me wrong.

I think its because of the legendary inscription which is Artificer,Huntsman or Weaponsmith to build.
The hilt and blade are weapon smith only.

Stage 2 of Twilight appears to be bugged. One part requests 10 of each greatsword blade and hilt (Bronze, Iron, Steel, Darksteel, Mithril, Orichalcum) and 5 deldrimor steel. The items are present in my inventory but the NPC is not accepting them.

Cant combine Bloodstone dust with putrid ichor. Nothing happened with chest or golem.
Step 3 of Carcharias for the legendary spear is bugged at the “Sunken Pirate Treasure” none of the chests near the wreck of the Argent Warrior are interactable, and are all open.

She’s not asking for 1 Elonian Leather Square, but 1 Elonian Leather String. Make that and try it again. (Though there is a typo in saying thick twice; you’re right, it should be coarse)
bifrost 1 : I’ve got the recipe for bifrost tier 1 and was clearly stated that it can be used by weaponsmith …same problem I can see only the insignia. Few other players have the same problem. Now what should we do? How do we get back the recipe, so we can use it on the proper crafting profession?

Collection 3: Chaos Gun III, needs Confetti Pouches which Require Black Powder from the Heart Merchant in Plaind of ashford. The item doesn’t exist in his UI for anyone to buy. Only pre-req listed in the “hint” is to complete the heart. 100% map complete char, no Black Powder.
