You don’t get a chest from doing a level 50 fractal (or from what I’ve been told),
Is this intended?

I’m guessing it’s intended so people are not yet capable of getting the next tier rewards.

You don’t get a reward for doing a level 50 fractal.

Actually, 41-50 is a tier itself, 51-60 is the next tier.

Rewardwise it still goes by the old system (40-49, as in loot from the daily). But the daily chest is part of the 41-50 tier. Don’t ask me why they decided to complicate it this much.

So to sum it up. The daily chest is part of the 41-50 tier. But the rewards in the daily chest in 50 would be part of the 50-59 tier. Not as in the actual relics given. But if for example in the next tier you would be able to get the fractal weapon chest, you would technically have a chance to acquire it starting from 50.
