It says accumulating in timberline falls, people stand around for hours, nothing is happening.

Been standing here in Timberline Falls with 40-50 people for over an hour but no event.

EDIT: Just as I posted this the event popped. So I guess the spawn timer is somewhere between 1-2 hours. Have fun doing this 10 times peeps!

The event spawns every 2 hours at 20 past the hour. It rotates around the 3 Maps: Gendarran Fields, Timberline Falls, and Iron Marches. Thus, an event will spawn once every 6 hours in a specific map.

Blcch. For me, they are already far too many “scheduled” events that require paying more attention to an out-of-game clock than anything in the game

Thanks, inculpatus, for the info. Hopefully, the various gurus at the wiki, gw2timer, etc will quickly add this to their scheduling tools.
