'Lick Wounds' Needs to be made more reliable.
Yes, I find it very unreliable. Sometimes the pet will even run over to you and stand on top of you laughing that he survived and you didn’t, all while not healing you a bit.
And other pets will come over to you, and also not heal you. And I also love that 9 times out of ten, Lick wounds still has 8 seconds left until I can use it, which is always a few seconds longer than I have to live.
Maybe the wound was a fissura ani.
I thought lick wounds was automatic? Is there a skill/button we have to press to activate it?
^ yes, when you’re downed it is your third ability.

Its bugged atm, and makes me so mad when I lose a fight because of it. Ive literally outplayed someone, downed them but realized I was low, so dpsed them that way when I go down I can kill them, then jokes on me, lick wounds decides it doesnt wanna work and I die. Yayyyy ranger bugs.
Also, in PVE lick wounds can often get you killed as mobs will continue to attack your pet as it stands on top of you, hitting you with AoE. I almost never use it in PvE for this reason, and because as long as my pet is alive and fighting it will draw aggro giving me time to heal with skill 4.

Maybe they’ll fix it so that it works 100% of the time underwater and 10% of the time on land.
They need to make 3 usable before 4. I start to self-heal then stupidly stop that to use the pet heal, which as you guys already know does nothing. Now I just interrupted my self-heal and put it on cd so my pet can pee on me.

Yeah I love how my pet runs up to me but doesn’t heal me. It’s awesome.

They just need to make it so using it doesn’t interrupt your self-heal. It just makes absolutely no sense in its current workings. Mechanically speaking, there’s no need for your guy to interrupt himself to “call” his pet over. It’s not like he has to do some fancy animation to beckon to his pet.

I first thought that as well. But since then, I also have had it happen on flat ground.
Bug it, report it and I’m sure they will fix the underwater version… “You now swim faster to the surface when dead.”

Actually, i have significantly less issues with my shark rezzing me then i do my loyal Fernhound…. which is really really weird when you think about it…

Same. Seems to be just as unreliable on flat ground as anything else.
