Can no longer talk to Destiny Edge NPC’s in the Light in the Darkness mission. Also, Caithe’s dialogue is cut off she doesn’t say, “I’ve missed you so much, my beloved Faolain. You’re all I have left. For you…Yes. I will fall into Nightmare.”

Is removing the option to talk to the Destiny Edge NPCs and limiting Caithe’s dialogue intentional?

I was wondering this too. I really liked the dialogue from Caithe, and missed it when I went through again on my fresh 80.

Same, since personal story was restored…I thought dialogue wouldn’t be missing. But I guess it could have been taken out for a reason.

I’m fairly certain they took out that line from Caithe on purpose. It’s possible that they thought it was confusing to some players (or maybe even some players reported that it was indeed confusing). They also gave Trahearne extra dialogue explaining what happened with Destiny’s Edge and why they don’t get along. As for talking to DE, I never talked to them before during the instance, so I can’t really comment on it.
