Did you receive the miniature in your mail? If not, try cleaning out your inbox. If you did receive it, you might have done “Deposit All Collectibles” at some point, which will send minpets to the collectibles tab in your bank unless you keep them in an invisible bag.

If you put it in an invisible bag (the kind that stops things from being sold to merchants), then it will stay there when you deposit all collectibles.
