Guild Wars 2

So I speak to Ellen in Lion’s Arch and she tells me to investigate a wreckage on the beaches of Lion’s Arch. Near the memorial. I go there, nothing to be found except crowbars.

I fired up google and found a pictorial guide saying to find various items (barrels, crates). When I look closely at these photos, it shows a wreckage on the shore, and sure enough a barrel to click on.

I see none of these. What am I missing? I’ve run up and down this beach to no avail.

Those were part of Phase 1 of the current event. Since Phase 1 is over, Anet probably removed them.

And yet still keeps the NPC with the star above it’s head and is able to be interacted with? That still says “go find the stuff”….. That’s sloppy if that’s the case

I haven’t checked to see if the containers and other debris are still there, but the reason that NPC is still there, is so people can turn in that phase 1 quest, tied in with Subdirector Noll and Canach; two npcs that were bugged for almost all of the first day.
