I have noticed an increasing amount of broken or hanging events that cannot be completed and will not reset for various different issues.
The problem with the current set-up is that if an event cannot succeed or fail, due to a bug, there is no global reset to restart the event. Hypothetically every event could eventually encounter a bug that makes them impossible to complete.
I suggest adding a global reset for events, for instance, that resets an event when no one interacts with the event in the last 2 hours.

I have reported all these issues with the in-game bug report but I thought a list would be appropriate. Please add/update to this list as you see fit.
Below is an incomplete list of the ones I have noticed so far:

Escort the quaggan emissary to the kodan camp
Snowden Drifts – Valslake
World: Aurora Glade
First noticed: Mid December – Still Unresolved
: The Quaggan tries to swim under a rock arch but proceeds to swim, literally, into the rock and cannot continue further. Attempts to ‘bait’ the Quaggan out by attacking nearby enemies result in the Quaggan coming to aide in attack but proceeding back into the rock afterwards.

Kill the Separatists before they destroy the Iron Barracuda
Plains of Ashford – Ascalon Basin
World: Aurora Glade
First Noticed: Early January – Still Unresolved
: Current progress is stuck on 28% Saboteurs Killed. Although Separatists will spawn and move towards the Iron Barracuda submarine, they will not attack it. Nor will killing the Separatists increase the progress bar.

Disguise yourself as a Flame Legion soldier and attack the Separatist Camp
Diessa Plateau – Oldgate Clearing
World: Aurora Glade
First Noticed: Early January – Still Unresolved
: Current progress is stuck on Separatists killed: 10/10 and Emblems planted: 0/5. Although there is a nearby NPC to the North of the event that can disguise you, they do not tell you how to acquire or plant Emblems. Nor is there any direction on how or where to place Emblems.

Save the merchants from the Bloody Buccaneer kidnappers
Bloodtide Coast – Portage Hills to Vindar’s Lagoon
World: Aurora Glade
First Noticed: Early January – Still Unresolved
: Current progress stuck on Merchants Remaining: 3 and Merchants rescued: 1/11. Essentially the Event has already failed. The 3 remaining Merchants do not spawn.

Please fix all of your events before adding new content. It’s so annoying. I revisited the Bloodtide Coast yesterday and there are still bugged events, even those I reported 2-3 months ago.

Ah, forgot to mention which World I’m in. I’ve added that now.

I have noticed the “Iron Barracuda” event has been frozen for over a month. I have gone by it probably 4 or 5 times. Every time I am in the area, I check to see if the event will progress. Currently it is frozen with 75% of the Separatists dead. Yet as you continue to kill them nothing changes. I am on the Isle of Janthir.

The Save the Merchants event is still frozen on Tarnished Coast at least. It was consistently frozen of Piken Square too, and it’s been like that since shortly after launch as far as I can tell.

I know it’s not as simple as writing a bug report to fix these events – these must be the really sticky ones – but it would be nice to get some response from the Devs at some point about the remaining bugged events and to know they’re still being worked on. As it is, it’s starting to feel as though they have slipped under the radar.
