We wanted to let you know that we are aware that a few players are experiencing log-in issues. The Error Code involved is 4:1022:8061:393 and players in both North America and Europe have reported this issue.
This matter is under investigation and will be addressed as quickly as possible.
Edit: I change “some” to “a few” because it appears a very small number are impacted. The focus on fixing this remains a priority, however.

My account was one of the “few” accounts impacted, i can login now but 2-way-auth seems to be disabled (checked options account.arena.net it is marked active) i didnt get a sms with code instead i was logged in directly which is a big security issue (i dont have any remembered networks as my ip is changing every day) i hope what ever you have fixed will get a second look
Masakari — could you please check again? SMS should be enabled and operating properly. I’d really appreciate your confirmation on that, if you would be so kind.

SMS didnt work on time of my first post (my wife didnt get a sms neither that time, she did 2 logins both without sms). i tried now, and got sms so it seems to work again.
Does this explain all the disconnects I had tonight? WvW reset is usually bad, but at times I’d be around no fights and suddenly ive lagged out, with an login server error.
Been playing just fine most of the night, but now I started getting really bad lag, then disconnected, restarted client, logged in and played for about 10 seconds and disconnected again. Clearly my connection is fine, I’m posting here aren’t I?

my wife (her account is AliceHearts.9610) can’t log in, my account works perfectly fine.
she got the same error code 4:1022:8061:393 mentioned in this post.
we tried to log in at the pc of each other. my accounts works for my and her pc. her accounts works neither nor.
beside that her GW1 account (same email) works perfectly.
Same probleme here, i dont want to miss SAB … :’/
i clean ip adress in my account nothing working .. & i dont receive sms check to login with another machine.

I’m in Sydney, Australia. I’ve been having Error 4:1022:8061:393 on my laptop (wireless modem) for the last 6-7 hours, since I came home this afternoon and tried to login. I am unable to login either to the game or the GW2 forum via my laptop, but can login to both on my PC (adsl modem), which would be great, if sitting up for long periods didn’t cause pain. There was no sms check to login on either PC or laptop.
i was in the middle of typing about this error when i tried to log in, it works now!
But theres a new problem i didnt receive any SMS security code, tried it 3 times and its just when straight to play…. hope you guys already knew and fixing this new issue.

I’ve got the same situation. I can log in however launcher doesn’t ask me for SMS code even though i haven’t set any trusted network.
I would like to confirm this too.. I am just able to log into my GW2 account but it did not send me an SMS for authentication and I have not set this IP address as a trusted network..
Hello, I send a ticket to the support, also had the problem.
I have made a ipconfig / flushdns in cmd and fixed the error no longer appears. No support if the guys have also done something about it to make it work.

This issue crept up again last night, but as of about 7:00 AM this morning (Pacific time, Saturday) it has been resolved. The Server Team is keeping a close eye on this situation. Thanks for your patience and information!
