Upon logging in, I come upon a visual anomaly where my charr characters are slightly off center and zoomed in. As show in the screenshot.

I came here to check if anyone had same issue as me, it appears that my human characters have either grown in size on the character select screen or my Sylvari characters have shrunk, it also seems that my Asurans have changed somhow too, like they are looking down at the floor. I cant tell if I’m going crazy, but I swear it all seems to have changed slightly, and not for the better.

It is not just charr.

The issue is that players no longer rotate around their center…. and instead rotate around somewhere closer to their right leg on a tilted axis.

I hope this is an attempt to fix the charr size in the loggin screen. Needs fix after, is it 3 yrs soon?

No, you are not crazy, the same happened to me. My female human characters seem to have suddendly grown in size (the Sylvari ones…. i’m not sure) and they also appear to be now looking at the ground for some unknown reason. Maybe they have become shy all of a sudden and are afraid to look at me in the eyes…. (O_o)

I don’t know if this was intended or if it is a bug, but i liked them better before. They feel… somehow “wrong” now.

Me and my fiance both noticed this as well, it’s a very bothersome change that I hope is only a bug and will be fixed soon (like the odd camera problems in the character creator)

For some reason the skin tone of my chars is much darker on the login screen than before.

They need (i’d say ‘NEED’ a thousand times) to make the charr smaller…

Here’s a before/after image for comparison.

All the characters are looking downward. It’s just very noticeable on asura. It’s all kinda weird. No mention of a change in the release notes, of course. Is this something half-way done? Is it an unintentional side-effect of some other change? Why does this stuff enter the game this way?

They changed it again. The characters look so sculptural now. I think, it’s in a good place now.
