Since about a week or two as a I noticed it, there have been some bugs with the login screen. Sometimes I can log in just fine, but more than half the times I need several tries. And the errors I get are strange.
Either it says the password was incorrect, or there is an issue with the connectivity/firewall-settings.
I tried reinstalling the game but that doesn’t seem to fix it.
And it’s really strange for me to get the “password is incorrect” error when I use the password save setting on the login screen.

played this morning. Logged in (in one go) and did dailies. Logged out, went for lunch. Came back, logged back in using the saved credentials from “remember password and username” and get this error screen. This means that even though the correct password is in the box, the system thinks there’s something wrong with it. And I never had this issue until the SAB patch (which increases my loathe for it)

I’ve been having the same issue. I have to enter my password several times before it will log me in. Very frustrating.

If the password is correct, and saved, then it’s probably the “issue with the connectivity / firewall settings” part of the message that applies, not the “incorrect password” part.

I’m not sure this is necessary, as this particular ‘bug’ has been posted about quite a few times since the last patch or so. And, it seems this is the only time any connectivity issues happen.

But, who knows? Maybe it’s just a coincidence that the connectivity issues only happen with the password connection.

I uploaded a picture in the OP, but if I click it I get an HTML screen with some weird texts.
The second picture below it, and the one right above your message seem to work fine

they do seem to work fine for me, too.. hmm.. okay, oh well, more windows for the devs to look through
