So today I found a bug. Then I am starting to chop and press “M”(World Map) I can grab the loot from chopped tree! Tested on fir sapling
This was so aggravating when I first ran into it because I as well thought I was losing mats but all you have to do is take a few steps away from it (get outside of the interaction radius) and then approach it again and you will have the option to search the node and then you can claim your stuff.
