Guild Wars 2

Whilst watching streams etc i have noticed that whenever someone loots or salvages an item it displays what they get on the right hand side of the screen above the minimap.

This has never happened for me, i have been through all interface options and can’t see a way to enable it.

Any ideas as to how i can get it working?

Enable auto-loot?
