The first Veteran Shadow Imp i encountered goes Invulnerable half or most of the time.
Wich makes it impossible for me to kill it before it kills me.

Is it the one that summon totems and creeps? You gotta kill the totem or he’ll stay invulnerable. If it’s not that one, idk.

It does spawn Dark Imps (small imps)
