I was under the impression that the game would recognise your dyes on your account and give you dyes you do not have. Over the past few days I’ve noticed that I’m losing more dyes than I originally started with. With any refund I’ve gotten, the majority have been dyes that I already have and have to sell away. So I’ve lost an amount of dyes that I’ve orginally had. I’ve got a feeling there’s a bug here. From what’s been told, I should have the amount of dyes I accumulated from all characters and THE GAME would recignise the dyes I already have and give me new ones. Please look into this and please fix this, thank you.

The system does not give you dyes you did not have. The system looks at all your characters after you have logged into each one. Any dyes that are duplicated on characters will be sent one Unidentified Dye for each duplicate dye after the initial dye.
If you open those Unidentified Dyes, and get more duplicates, you can sell them, give them away, keep them or destroy them.

The system is not and will not give everyone or anyone dyes they were missing from their collection, except by chance. Just as you had a chance of receiving a new dye when opening an Unidentified Dye before the patch.

The entire reason you’ve been given UNID dyes is because Anet chose to refund you with those so you can either sell them or open them for more colors. They would not have given you free dyes you dont have directly because that defeats the purpose of opening unid dyes.
