I’m not sure what happened, but I lost exactly 10% of my MF. On patch day I opened around 127 champ boxes and salvaged everything from those and used all of the MF items to increase my “luck”. At the end, I had about 48% MF. I logged in the next day (yesterday) and completed a few world bosses and my daily and salvaged everything I got. I used all of the luck items and checked my MF hoping I had gotten to 50% and I was at 40%. I’m not sure if this was a bug, or if something happened in the two patches since the Sept. 3rd update, but I would really like that 10% back.

Did your guild have a MF buff up? I know that threw mine for a loop when it expired. Better to trust the MF rating on the achievement pane and not the stats pane to know the amount you are getting from luck.

There are two places where you’ll find magic find stats: on your hero screen (with all the other stats) and on the summary of your achievement tab (with just a luck bar). The one on your achievement tab shows the account wide bonuses caused by achievements and luck consumables. The one on your hero screen also takes temporary buffs (food, banner, guild bonus) into account and therefore can be higher than the stat on your achievement tab (and vary over time).
