Hi guys,
I’m not sure if this is a bug, or if it’s meant to happen, but:
I just transmuted a pair of boots on my elementalist, they were exotic. I wanted to transmute it so it had the stats of a green I found? Better stats, so naturally I wanted them xD
When I completed the transmute, the boots became a rare instead of staying exotic – is that because I transmuted an exotic with a masterwork, or is it a bug?

Help please!

That depends. Was the exotic previously transmuted?

Rare skin + exotic stat => exotic item with exotic stat
item from previous transmute + masterwork stat => rare item with masterwork stat
