There’s a spot in Lost Precipice on the upper level with the four large buildings where decorations cannot be placed. When trying to place them the loud decorating sound will play, but the decoration cannot be placed there. I’ve tested this to see if the issue was too many decorations in one location, but it seems like you just can’t put decorations in this spot. This is a shame, because it’s the perfect place for a fountain up here! I’ve taken screenshots and circled the dead area with pumpkins for clarification.

i’ve encountered a few of these dead zones in the lost precipice so far. but seeing how they’re mid-air, i suppose they’re not really bugs, just maybe zones for the bird animation to play in.
this one however, seems quite an obvious spot… maybe it’s going to be a spot for some upgrade later on (like the guild portal, that’s placed close to the central waypoint in lost precipice).

When your guild reaches level 40, you can try to obtain the Notary upgrade “Further Exploration”. This will open up pathways to allow access to that upper region. When this happens, you will also discover a new waypoint that will appear in the center of that nice round area in OneEyedIrishman’s screenshot. This is why you cannot place a decoration in that specific spot.

This does clear up my question, yes! Thank you for clarifying this. This also presents a new concern in that this is just a truly awful, awful spot for a waypoint. This upper section is easily the best spot in the guild hall and that ugly, obtrusive ringing thing is going to end up smack dab in the square where a fountain or grand statue ought to go.

I don’t know if you guys ever move waypoints, but I would like to be the first to ask (or beg) for this one to be moved somewhere a bit more out of the way so we can have this awesome spot you’ve designed to make our own.
