My guild took Lost Precipice earlier and once we claimed it all the updrafts went missing. There are none above the jump pads or in the canyons like there were during the retaking mission. I do have updraft mastery so it is not that.
I was wondering the same thing too. Took me an hour and a half of wandering around to figure it out. You have to stand right next to the jump pads, interact with it to activate it, then the updrafts will appear. They will also disappear after a while.
