Lost Shores Event Is Bugged
There is a massive problems with the final event of killing ancient karka boss. Biggest problem would be a massive lag where you get delay of from 30 second to after 3 minutes, which means you are probably dead by that time because mobs practically one hit you. My 70 people party got wiped at least 10 times from monsters attacking us and becoming visible only 20 seconds later.
And its not even the biggest problems. Me and my friends got kicked out out of the server at least 6-8 times and in the end weren’t able to log back on. And I know people discussed problem with no Oceanic servers and I’m personally fine with playing on European server from Sydney,I have no lag due to fast internet, but I woke up at 7am just to play this even and after 2 hours of disappointment from dying from I don’t even know what I wasn’t even able to finish it.
I think Arena Net needs to take more care about creating their events and supporting their servers providing a quality and bug free content. I think community needs an apology for this waste of their time and frustration.
I totally agree. I also had to change my plans to do this event, and in the end i got kicked out of the server and unable to enter it again. Thus wasting 2 hours just to be kicked out.
Spent the last 3 hours getting kicked (at least 12 times). Multiple events giving me no rewards. Absolutely no loot from any kills. So basically 3 hours of laggy game play. I usually don’t post on forums because it is a waste of time but i figure 5 minutes is worth this ridiculousness.
Indeed, AN has to know that they have failed to deliver content we all have paid for. It was just waste of time. If no one post on the forums and complains they wont do jack about it.

I got DCed near the end of the event on two separate overflow servers. Spent over an hour on each one and got nothing to show for it.
All I want to say is that we have to fight for our right. Im not saying that game is bad, I like it and a lot in it is much better than any other MMO out there but If no one says nothing about things like this Arena Net will just sit there and keep giving us crappy content. And no one wants that. We all paid our $90 for this game after all, and keep paying money in the game store, we deserve quality content. ANd Im willing to fight for it!
By the agreement, they are obligated to release quality and bug-free before the released date, especially if its a one time event going over 3 hours.
The inability of Arenanet to provide this for their customers will seriously cripple there reputation.
There is a problem with the chest at the end of the Boss Fight in Bakestone Cavern too. Anyone that was dead when the boss also died, might not have been able to open the chest, like I wasn’t.
My game crashed at the end and I got no XP/KARMA and CHEST. :/

I just got in afther many tries, got stuck at loading sceen, then it booted me out, tried about 3-4 times more and then got into the game… finally.
