Our demolition squad for The Lost Shores event on an Overflow server is stuck on the ramp down to the bottom of the Karka hive. They are just sitting there. I have no idea how to tell you which overflow it is.

Still stuck… Many people are awaiting a resolution to this event that is one time only. Can you confirm whether or not this will be a repeat event? It looks like it’ll be the main event for the island with an epic encounter, like the dragons. If so I will leave and come back another time, but if not I guess we’ll have to stick it out until someone fixes it on our overflow server.

This is a one time event, and im on this overflow too, i feel snuffed off this event.

Main Dragonbrand server is having the same issue. Tawel is not moving on the ramp down. We’ve even cleared the entire hive while waiting.

On that overflow as well. I for one welcome our new Karka overlords.

Arenanet, please acknowledge us, this is very urgent!

Many of us have planned our day around this event. Which bugged in the first 20 minutes.

Around 40 of us have been standing here for the last hour waiting for any sort of update. We have all submitted bug reports and have gotten no responses.

I understand that this is something that takes time to fix, but it does not seem to be a widespread problem as many other people I have talked to have progressed far into the event with zero issues.

We are afraid to move to a different server as we believe that we would miss out on a good chunk of the event.

Help me anet kittenonobi. You’re my only hope.

I can’t even stress how much this needs to be paid attention to. It’s too late for us to move servers as everyone else is nearly down. We’re almost an hour behind and waited in hopes of a quick fix.

Perhaps it wouldn’t be so frustrating if we had some kind of word showing that the team knew about our issue and are trying to resolve it.

Sadly, I don’t think we have enough people to clear the event anymore either. But I’m not prepared to walk away from an event either. ._. We’ll see what happens.

You best hop to another overflow. I 100% guarantee that ArenaNet will not (and cannot) fix the situation. They’d need to kick everyone off for a patch.

If we switch now, we miss a huge amount of the event. Either way, we’re missing out. I’d rather put my hope in them than ditch.

In practically every MMO I have played (somewhere in the 50+ range) if an npc gets “stuck” a GM can force it to progress to the next location. In this case it should be a quick push to where the demolition team places the explosives.

I’m assuming they are either very short staffed, or just dealing with an influx of server issues.
Either way a simple response would be very nice.

I have high faith in the anet team. They’ve never failed me before.

Also, the login server is down.

On dragonbrand, yet to even hear that anet knows the problem exists. A lot of people are mad, I hope they have some kind of way to fix this mess

Still no update. Numerous people have been joining our overflow stating that they got near the end of the event. The game crashed, the login servers were down and now they are on a bugged server. :|

I swear this mess up has become the funniest event I’ve ever participated in.

Everyone running up with fireworks in hand only to face 10 karka veterans that respawned? Instawipe.

I haven’t laughed so hard in an MMO till now!

Got DC’d, logged back into an overflow where the event is finished. Waiting on getting back to main server, but it looks like I’m not finishing this event

Finally made it back onto Dragonbrand server, and the event is still at the exact same point. Hopefully something gets done about this…

I’m on Europe, Vabbi and we’ve been stuck on the ramp for a while.

Is anything being done to fix or reset the event? People are still waiting in dragonbrand

Yeah, there’s still a group, much smaller than when I last posted, waiting in Vabbi as well.
A few people, myself and some in my guild, couldn’t even make it to the event due to disconnect and inability to log back in. I disconnected on the road to it, and couldn’t log in for hours. I’m no poorer than I was before the event, and mapping out the island was fun, and the generous actions of some of the players orphaned in the event made my day, but I did miss all of the quests mailed to me because of bugs. It’s been fun though, thanks Anet.

My event chain on one of the Arora Glade got stuck, we were on the last part of ‘driving the legendary kraka back to its nest’ and then the kraka stopped spawning reinforcements and just stood there taking zero damage from hundreds of players. It was like 2am on Monday morning so I went to bed pissed off after playing for hours for no reason. I did submit an ingame bug report.

I also participated in Vabbi server and wasted lots of time a money for repairs after several deaths. I want the reward as the demolition squad was stuck on the ramp.

So we did finally get help last night, and upon reflection i realize that it is not easy to help and fix issues for people. However last night we had a lovley GM named Serena come on and help us in our overflow, for this i belive everyone was grateful, so i like to take my time to thank Serena and Anet for coming out their way to help us

So Vabbi server was ignored? I was there, but gave up after few hours of waiting… I’ve sent a report, but I don’t have a hope for anything now.

It was both Vabbi and Dragonbrand. :/ I know all of the quests I did in Vabbi were bugged, I couldn’t get the guy to do anything in the house at all, and then the bombers got stuck on the stairs.

Yup, I’m starting to wonder if I’ll get anything since I was unable to complete any part of the event chain due to this bug. And it does seem as if the devs want to pretend it didn’t happen. Not a single word has been said about it.

I really wish they would admit the entirety of the Lost Shores event was a bug-riddled mess, and apologize for it. I’ve been genuinely disgusted by it and it’s sucked out all my enthusiasm for the game.

I wouldn’t say the entirety, I know that it worked well on some servers, I heard from others about the fun they had on the quest and the epic loot. It just seems to be that we wound up in the ‘ghetto server’ lol.
