Guild Wars 2

I am trying to run GW2 on my laptop that used to be able to run the client without problems in the past.

Lately though everytime I try to log in, it gives me a warning that the digital signature is not authenticated. I have tried to accept digital license, I have checked trusted programs in anti-virus program and it’s listed as trusted all the time. It’s Kaspersky by the way.

But when I click on log-in, a few seconds later I get an error saying the game client lost its connection to the server. That I should wait a few minutes to try again. I do try again and nothing changes. I restart computer, nothing changes. I have tested internet connection with other programs, not a problem. GW2 – problem.

What can I do to get GW2 to run again? What am I missing?

odds are, your anti-virus software is blocking the connection from the GW2 client.

I’d personally try deleting the installation and downloading again, but YMMV. (You could preserve the gw2.dat and just get it to download the rest, btw.)
