It can’t be thrown in Mystic Forge.
So I can’t do my Lucky Great Ram Lantern.

Much upset.

Can you show a screenshot of what you’re trying to throw in the forge? (And your inventory, side by side.)

At left the inventory with the 4 components of the recipe

At right the Mystic forge, as you can see the firework icon does not appear in the list

Have you tried putting the Fireworks in first? Sometimes, the Mystic Forge is persnickety.

Ah, you have the wrong fireworks

The one you have is “Lunar New Year Fireworks” and you need the similarly named Lucky New Year Firework

I only caught it because I can’t ever remember which fireworks give +XP from all sources and which don’t, so I just presume I never have the one I want until I double check the wiki. (And sure, it doesn’t help that they look similar, especially to someone with my form of dyslexia. As far as I’m concerned, they both face the wrong direction )
