Hi there,
I’m trying to get the “Luminescent Strap” item from a quartermaster in the Silverwastes map. However, the required dialog option no longer appears to me (I’ve seen it yesterday before the last game update).
From what I’ve read, the option should appears during a peaceful time, and requires the player to have at least 3 stacks of “Perseverance”.
I’ve tried with 3 different characters, with various level of “Perseverance” and I’ve talked to every quartermaster on the map with no luck.
On the screen attached, I’ve 4 stacks of “Perseverance” and this is during a peaceful time. The option is not there.
Am I missing something or is it just a bug?

Make sure the Fort is not under attack and being defended, and is under Pact Control, when speaking to the Quartermaster. Otherwise, the Quartermaster’s dialogue will change, and he/she will not offer the Strap.

As far as I’ve experienced, the Quartermaster is only available if the keep is under Pact control and the last option (the “merchant” option) is available only if the keep is not attacked/defended.
I’ll try again today in the evening and hopefully I’ll finally see this option again.

Won’t work for me either, and the fort has just finished rubble collecting and I have 5 perseverance.

Finally the Luminescent Strap suddenly appears in my collection today… strange.
Anyway maybe this is due to the last game fix.

I am having trouble getting this strap. I am at lvl 5 keep is at 4 before breach done this at all 4 spots all 4 quartermasters through all achievements. and at no time the merchant will give me the option. this is bugged. hope they fix it. or it randomly happens for me like another poster said.

I have this strap, got it the first hours, I guess, and I don’t believe there is any dialogue attached to it.

I guess it just appears in your inventory when you speak to the Quartermaster. It’s such a plain-looking item icon that it may be easy to miss. Lol. Not what I was thinking it would look like.

The way I got it was:

1. Got 5 stacks of Perserverance.

2. Talked to the Quartermaster (at Red Rock, if that helps) when it was under Pact control and no defense/rubble/escort events were ongoing.

3. Got an option allowing me to “trade” 3 stacks of my Perserverance for the strap. Selected yes, and got the strap in my inventory.

Hmm..now that it is mentioned, maybe there was a dialogue. I can’t really remember it accurately. The first couple of hours are kind of a blur. /shrug
