Guild Wars 2

A friend and I were grouping together we chose 2 different factions, he chose order and I chose priory but when we started the lvl 40 questline where Eir, Logan, and all them were fighting for destiny’s edge when we completed that I ended up being switched over to the order. Anyone know what happened or how it happened and anyway to fix it???

If you do your “next story” with someone else, everyone besides the initiator gets only two choices:

• Don’t take credit and follow your own choice.
• Do take credit and follow the same choice made the person who started the story.

AFAIK, there’s no way to reset that choice. It can’t hurt to create a support ticket and ask, just in case they have a suggestion or a trick.

@Tabbii: There is a’ hotfix’ and it’s kind of obvious if you pause and think.

Just join with someone who is in the Priory and ready to do the next quest step you were up to. At the end just choose to take credit and your back on track.

Trick will be finding someone at the same point you were up to, but if you ask around in mapchat odds are in your favor someone will help out.

This has been tested and does work across all storylines/orders.
