Everyone I know just got d/c’ed…. my whole fractal group, my whole friends list, everyone who was online on our teamspeak. Anyone else?

No idea. Couldn’t even log to the forums.

Yep, the whole group i was in a dungeon with got kick out. Was surprised i could rejoin the dungeon at the same point though =)

we were in 3rd fractal and got kicked back to LA. Have to start all over.

My fractal instance got terminated :/ We were 2 mins away from finishing our 49 daily.

Can GW2 explain why the owner of the fractal instance can’t reconnect if they get dc’d? It makes no sense? You wasted my parties time when we were on the last lvl fractal. This is absurd that you haven’t done something about this by now. Please fix old problems before coming out with something new.

Blame the source, not the victim.

Since it seems that ArenaNet got DDoS attacked, they need to respond. Work with their host IPS and block the attacking addresses, and fix it so its harder to happen again. Because that DDoS literally brought the entire game and website to a crash.

What they need to do is give the ability to reconnect to a Fractal if the creator dcs. This would have been solved for me if they did that.

Happened a few times tonight. Wonder if we’ll get an honest answer from them as to why.

yeah crashed again like 15-20 minutes ago on BP. i happened to somehow manage to stay on while all of my guild(37people online) minus 7 people and party dc’d

Last night myself and my entire guild crashed at the same time. When we finally were able to log back in after about 20 minutes or so, the lag was so bad it was unplayable (latency lag, not fps lag). This morning I was able to log in fine, but the lag was there intermittently and I’ve noticed a bunch of events are stuck and bugged like the morgans spiral in caledon, Guard Barthol in Queensdale, ect ect. There’s tons of events just stuck and I imagine it’s related to the huge server crash. Seriously someone needs to look into this, especially with the big update around the corner. It’s starting to get game breaking.

I was told that it also happened for Aion, so it seems to be an NCSoft issue, not necessarily limited to ANet.
