Hello,
So Ive recently started up my Alternate character….My Guardian.
I have been banging away on him for days now….
Today after playing for some time, I opened up the hero panel and just started looking at some of my achievements. I recalled seeing someone with a title called “combat healer” SO i decided to check my progress. Darn half way….
I then went over to the title tab to see what one I had put on during launch week.
Skimmed through the titles and saw one I had not seen before.

“Ascendant”

I have 50/50 HOM, I couldn’t recall it being a HOM title, so I opened up wiki. 0_0
Its the max SPvP title?!?!? Well i have yet to participate in a single SpVp fight.
As you can see(from the screen shot) I have yet to participate in a single match, have not met the prereq for the first title let alone the final tier…….
So I have submitted a In Game report, but I am a little worried . I do not want to be banned or penalized for something I did not do. So does Anet know anything about why this would happen!?!?!?!?

looking at the titles you are able to choose in your drop down, all these are the 10 you get for completing 50/50 in HoM.

I had all these 10 too when i first logged into and created my first character in GW2, they were linked to my 50/50 HoM account.

Traveler – received from achieving 5 points in HoM
Guild Warrior – received from achieving 10 points in HoM
Rift Warden – received from achieving 15 points in HoM
Chosen – received from achieving 20 points in HoM
Ascendent – received from achieving 25 points in HoM
Closer to the Stars – received from achieving 30 points in HoM
Ghostly Hero – received from achieving 35 points in HoM
Flameseeker – received from achieving 40 points in HoM
Legend of the Mists – received from achieving 45 points in HoM
Champion of the Gods – received from achieving 50 points in HoM

with you achieving 50/50 in HoM then your achievement list is as it should be and you can display any of those 10 titles without any fear of being banned.

As for the sPvP title I am not sure about that as i don’t sPVP, but the Ascendent title in your drop down is indeed what you brought over to GW2 with your HoM point achievements.

Well thank you for pointing that out….
Now I feel stupid, but the fact still remains, then.
There are 2 different titles that are called

“Ascendant”

A SpVp title with the name, and the HOM title…..LOL
Did Anet goof???

possibly, lol. Maybe that sPvP title appears differently once achieved. Does seem a bit silly having 2 different titles named exactly the same.
But the one you have is definitely from your HoM
