When attempting to re-open the application after the crash I’m prompted with the following error:

“You can’t open the application “Guild Wars 2.app” because it is not responding.”

not just the mac client.. the windows client is doing the same thing.. 32 and 64 bit versions.

They broke something in the update today

i cant stay connected more than 2-3 minutes then it crashes on windows vista home edition

Now it is worse than before. If they are going to offer the game on mac it should work, they they should be working towards fixing issues that cause the game unplayable. Its crazy when you work towards a map meta only to be dc and lose all your progress. You can’t get back into the map because it maxed out. Before I would crash 1 time every 1-2 hours now its like 4 times an hour. Arenanet please fix your game.

Bump. They need to acknowledge this.

Having the same problem on the Mac client. I can get in and play for maybe 4-8 minutes, then crash.

In WvW it crashes every 5 minutes. Crashes 5 times in 30 minutes.

I really wish the Mac client and related issues would be addressed more. I’m sure we are a minority, but we still paid for a (working) game.

I got the same error message as the original poster and I still can’t play the game on my mac. Has this issue been addressed for other people?
