Mac Client: Won't start after latest update
Re-downloaded and re-installed the game client. Still won’t start.

I did. That didn’t work, either. Thanks for the suggestion, though!
Looks like the client update was a red-herring. The crash during the event tied up some file. Uninstalled with AppZapper to remove every related file, rebooted the Mac, Re-installed, now it seems to be working.
