[Mac] Guild Hall upgrades panels not working!
You are not the only mac player with that issue. I and others are unable to interact with the Upgrades or Treasury window.
I’m glad it’s not just me then. Sadly the mac posts seem to get neglected which disappointments me a little. Hopefully everyone who has this issue reports it. I had a trouble ticket reply, which basically told me to run some windows diag program. Obviously doesn’t help though as it seemed more of a generic response. I guess they skipped over that it was a mac issue and not a windows issue.
Makes me wonder if they did a unit test for mac or if it was working and then they broke it with a later patch.

GW2 is totally down on my Imac 27" 5k machine at present. And it happened during one of the subsequent patches on Friday. As I was running it fine Friday morning, then one of the many “mini” patches screwed up the startup part of my client.

This is also happening on my Mac as well. I get in the guild hall, talk to the merchant to drop some inventory, the window pops up and it is blank. It takes a few seconds to load the window screen. Once it loads, I try to put in a deposit for the Hall upgrades. I have to pull it out of my inventory and place it on the box with the +. Once I do that I click on the confirm button and then nothing happens. I have to send the items to another member of the guild so that they can make the deposit. On the upgrades screen that shows how many items are needed for the current upgrade, it does not allow me to scroll up or down. It would be great to be able to have this fixed. Thank you.
This is happening for me on my MacBook Pro as well! Very very frustrating. I’ve also been having issues where the game keeps crashing
I did put in a ticket, but I would suggest the rest of you do the same thing as well to raise awareness. Issues posted on the forums are not automatically tickets, but if you go through the formal ticket submission on https://help.guildwars2.com/anonymous_requests/new it puts it on a tracker. This impacts metrics used to measure how well support (and the devs, and anyone else involved) is at resolving issues.
Edit: To avoid helpful suggestions like “Check your permissions to make sure you have the authority to deposit” (I swear they didn’t read the rest of the ticket where I also said that scrollbars also don’t work) — I suggest including a screenshot of your permissions from the guild window confirming that you do in fact have permission to deposit.

I’m seeing the same issue for the guild treasury. I was trying to donate items, but ended having to mail it to other people in the guild to put it in the treasury for me.
There’s also a lot of heap and game crashes too.

I have a 27" iMac too. If you run that terminal command, sometimes you’ll get a bad response, it will say so in the log. I just do the Cmd+Option+Esc to force close the game application and try it again. Usually a few tries or let it load in peace will eventually load up the game window for you to sign in.
Other option is to restart your computer which will let you open the game like a normal application without having to use their “repair” terminal command.

didn’t realize it was mac-only until I came here. my guild was very confused by my questions :P “how do you donate?” “what do you mean, ‘how?’ you just talk to the guy”.

So far from what I’ve figured out, (And this is with all guild permissions enabled) Mac players are unable to use the Treasury panel, the Upgrades panel, and the Decoration Select panel (The one used to change your current decoration you’re placing, not the decoration storage). This really needs to be addressed, as it is blocking progress for Mac players.

I submitted a ticket but have only got the “Request received” email. hope this gets fixed soon. Im currently the one making all the mugs, kegs, and linseed oils for my guild, but I have to have someone tell me how many and then send them a stuff to donate.

Regarding my ticket on this UI issue:
- - I confirmed with GW2 Support that I did have permission to donate to the treasury.
- - My response is, “The next time that you’re in the game and you find a bug, you can do us a favor by submitting an in-game bug report. This will send detailed information about your character and your position directly to our Quality Assurance Team and will help us kitten the issue as promptly as possible.” I removed the rest of the response on how to do this.
- - I also did a follow-up w/ an in-game bug submission.
The ticket remains open, and I guess the ball is in the QA’s space. Don’t know how well that’ll work, but if I get further news I’ll post it here.

Exactly the same for me. Was good Friday morning, patches mess me all up. And same issue with Treasury window. Cant play fractals at all. All my skills freeze up. Hope this gets fixed for mac players.
I sure hope they fix this soon, as it is a pretty game breaking glitch for a sizeable chunk of the game’s community. I’ve talked to other Mac players in my guild and they’re all having this problem, so this is definitely am ‘all Macs’ issue, not just something a few Mac players suffer from.
Can we get some dev response to this? Let us know they are aware of the issue?

Thank you for keeping us updated Dara. I had a rather lengthy chat with several support ticket replies with you guys. They were most helpful even though we determined this was an in game bug and not something system related.
Oh so that’s whats happening. I was wondering why nothing was working in the guild halls. How come this wasn’t tested? UI testing is a pretty basic thing.

sucks to not be able to participate in my guild’s progress. can’t even view the upgrades cause the scroll and click functions are disabled
Any news on when the Mac client leaves Beta? It’s been 3 years and 1 expansion….

It is fixed for me on my Macbook Pro.
It is “fixed” for me as well on my MBP. The UI is very slow to load, but you can scroll and (I think) select.
If i open the treasury and, while that window is open, also open the guild window [G] my game crashes. The time to load the treasury is also still pretty long .
Ah okay. I’m so used to stuff loading almost immediately that when a window doesn’t load after like five seconds I just close it haha. Next time I play I’ll leave it open longer and see if it loads.
It’s just a real pain since I’m an officer in a guild and I’d like to help manage upgrades and, you know, actually donate mats.
