Guild Wars 2

I’ve collected all of the machine parts in the caldera (no more yellow highlight text over the parts at all five locations) and the quest tracker only registered four of them. No more parts are available to collect so I cannot continue the story with this character.

I am having the exact same issue. I have spent an hour running around, dying in lava, looking in every nook and cranny, and there are no more machine parts to find. Stuck at 4/5

The simple solution is to go to character select and then log back in.

That was actually one of the last things I had tried, and it sadly did not work for me. In the end, I just logged off and went and played some Starcraft 2, and when I came back for Teq, the patch had refreshed them, and I was able to finish it.

Same issue here. I’ve been around the caldera numerous times, under every cranny, through the cavern with the updrafts. One of the machine parts is nowhere to be found.

— After exiting and reloading the game, the missing part showed up. There was no update to download, I just needed to reload.

Just did this on another character. Did you get the one right on the edge of the lava? I know I missed that one the first time around.

I cannot find the 5th part either, and I had no issues when I did it a few days ago on a diff char.
