Trying to zone in with a group puts all members in different instances. Unable to fix even with log out/log in

lots of people with same issue.

It is the same bug as with other dungeons. You can’t enter, nothing happens on pressing the button. It’s sad that ANet was not able to fix this issue since the release… Nice present.

It’s embarrasing. I’m having this issue aswell.

Same here, I’m trapped in instance-limbo.

lots of people have the issue of not being able to be in the ssame instance as their party and DC’s. This makes this event very disappointing and a waste of time for a lot of players. I can only get into instance by myself and I am in a party…. so this as of the current time is useless for me to even attempt act 3.

Same here, cannot enter the same instance with other party members. Actually now i cannot even enter the instance..

I hope because it is really annoying.

Is there any info on how long will the dungeon hang around? I have work tomorrow and no time to wait for a hot fix so will have to postpone.

THAT was the ultimate thing we shouldnt miss, a 20 second cutscene?!?!

Very disappointing. Is it because we are on different instances, or because once you have been in on your own it keeps the instance open until you have completed it, or even meaning you have to be the first one in for any party you are with? All very annoying.

Yup, can confirm this works. Been doing it this way for over a month.

crashing the game when i finally had the mad king near death after almost an hour of hard work and half an hour trying to get in in the first place… so disappointed right now… hope the event will still be accessible tomorrow evening (that’s about 20 hours from now) because I won’t be able to try it again before that if it doesn’t come back online within about 15 minutes…

I got onto my main server, with people only from my server (no overflow), then… we all got login server error messages

The group broke up, joined another, none of us were in overflow again… but when we tried to enter, it dumped us in separate instances

gave up trying to group and go in solo, because people were saying it was solo-able, but it wouldn’t let me enter solo— no error message, no entry, nothing.

Tried re-logging, got locked out and now just got back in game.

Here’s another bug that is related. The mad king doesn’t start giving instructions. It just tells you to go find your minor-race partner. One group gave my Quaggan. This one I captured a screenshot of gave me Hylek.

Only happens to me when I’m in a group

I have never even seen that command when I finally got in, on the attempt I nearly killed him on before the crash, just a LOT of mobs, mad king says, and killing mad king himself…

My whole guild SOLOED the mad king, because we didn’t manage to get in the same instance. It is sad that this known bug since day one (and even before) is still not corrected.

Fun facts: the warriors finished when everyone else was at 40%-60%
The last to finish were a necro and an elem (me)
To be honest, I was absolutely not built to to solo anything, since, you know, it was supposed to be a group event… But I guess some professions can be excesively good both solo and in group without having to respec anything…

I was lucky though, I finished him in aprox 1h, and just after the big server crash happened
