So i just had my 5th death on my way to this place in Mount Maelstrom(60-70)

I mean, are there any specific way to get in there? Whenever i get close to that place i got a 11k dmg and die. Whatever i do, skip mobs or not, as long as i get close to a certain place near there, i died.

Is this really working as intended or is that a bug?

Having same problem on Yak’s Bend server.

Yeah, coming at Maelstrom’s Bile from either side you hit point where you instantly die. I watched several players throw themselves at it in confusion.

If this is intended and it some kind of weird “Must wear fire proof panties past this point” I haven’t been able to find anything online I got in just fine for the mission here.

I walked through this area the other day just fine – now my friend and I are constantly dying, while people around me are fine.

I have 2 PoI I need to complete in Maelstrom’s Bile for 100% completion and I cannot get in there without dying. I’ve wasted a couple hours trying to figure this out.

Just had the same issue. I was full health, suddenly I take tons of damage and die with no enemy aggro. Frustrating!!

Having the same issue on Devona’s Rest. Died 3x each from the different approaches. Annoying that it is only effect some.

Maybe somehow teleport in with those Asuran Navigation Chart devices?

Managed to get in trough the northern entrance. By attacking the fire ember behind the invisible wall of death, when it was allmost dead i killed myself and rallied back up inside.

There are some rock outcroppings at the back of the area that are accessible from the skill point. If you walk to the very edge of the outcroppings, you will get the POI. No need for fireproof panties.
