The in game mail system needs a conformation box for high value and or rare/exotic items.

I just accidently ended up sending 20 globs of ectoplasm to a random person. I now have no way of knowing who that was or any hope of getting them back. Having spent days farming for them.

As you can imagine i’m very ticked off about it.

Upon a little investigation it would appear that the mail recipient name is filled in automatically when ever you highlight or target someone, highlight is done by simply facing someone.

This along with no confirmation message has resulted in my loss of 4 golds worth of materials.

Think before you click send.

At the very least there should be a confirmation for every mail, or they should disable/allow toggle of the “feature” that sends mail to the closest person to you. I was trying to send a bunch of crafting mats to a friend and lost hundreds of ore because even though I entered his name, after adding additional items to the mail it changed it back to the closest person to me. After submitting a ticket it seems there is no resolution to this issue.

I’ll agree that this system seems wonky and needs to be tweaked.
