Mail with support tokens vanished [Merged]
I did the patch and logged in. Saw 2 mails with tokens. Then i read the guide and wped to sanctum. Checked my mail inbox for the 2 mails and they arnt there. Gone! Now I cant do anything since I need those to vote and start activities. QQ
Logging back in after update, was in Queensdale, I got the 2 mails with the support tokens, went to Lions Arch via PvP, Lions Arch did not load and game client reported that the connection was lost.
After logging back in the mail was gone. as well as more recent mail from heart quest and zone complete.

Same happened to me, saw emails then they auto deleted before i took items. Awesome!

Same issue here. Should have picked the items before zoning out, sigh.
Logged in after patch tonight I noticed 2 new mail for the event. Before I got the Items in mail my game client crashed. When I logged back in, the mail had gone. I have tried relogging etc…
Any one else get this or know how to fix?

oh we can buy tokens fomr npc on the ship. atleast that shud get us working onthe activities.
Me too. I loged with my Necro, saw the mails and closed without getting the items on it to log with my Ranger (main) to proceed with new content. Now the mail disappeared on both characters. I am now lost, no idea what to do with the voting thing, and no tokens.
Reported this in game already.
Tried relogging, checked other characters (no mail there either), deleted old mail (no, I did not delete the mail if that’s what you’re wondering. I made sure of that) and restarted the game multiple times.
edit: though you get support tokens rather easily from doing the solo-instances so it’s not that big of a deal. Just didn’t manage to read the mail correctly so it would have been nice to be able to check the information in game from mail

I’ve picked up 4 “Support Reminders” from killing noobs. I’m not 100% sure but you might be able to use those.

Just picked up a Support Token as if it were a Kite Fortune, they’re lootable lads. Spread the word to those who have also had theirs deleted

When you log in to Guild Wars 2, you’ll receive a mail from both Captain Evon Gnashblade and Captain Ellen Kiel detailing the current situation. Each Captain is trying to accrue influence with the Zephyr Sanctum and will offer you a Support Token to get started on helping their cause. Click the “Show Me” button at the bottom of the mail to find out where to take your Support Token.
Didn’t get mail. Well, I think I did, when I first logged into my alt. But I didn’t want to read it, cause it was my alt. So I logged onto my main, and there was no mail. Then I logged back to my alt and there was also no new mail.
Yes they can be looted from mobs but those emails actually included some info and free tokens.

Exactly, I wasn’t able to even read the mails. Now I am getting tokens my character has no idea what to do (Me, the player, know because of internet, but my character is lost

Please ensure that your in-game mailbox is not full. If you have a full mailbox, containing 10+ in-game mail messages, the two Candidate messages will not save. If your mailbox icon is showing red, then your box is full. You’ll see the messages when you login, but when you change maps or log out, the full mailbox is unable hold onto those two excess mail messages and they, unfortunately, will be lost.
We’re sorry about the loss of those mails and the two support tokens that were attached to them. While you can get more tokens through regular game play, I understand that it’s annoying to have lost the ‘free’ ones that Kiel and Gnashblade sent to you.
The team is working on a fix for this issue, but we can’t give you an exact time for when that fix will be deployed.

Same issue. How did we get these two messages in the first place if our “mailboxes are full” ? Are they only full after we have opened our mailbox, read the two new messages and closed the mailbox ( at which point they get deleted )?
Yep same thing happend here. Just to report it, still I am glad they are alredy working on a fix.
I wish the mailbox would allow more than 10 messages. I keep some of mine! 10 is like nothing. Anyways, I too lost one of the tickets due to this. kitten , I also lost a funny personal message – and I never screenshotted it so I don’t remember who sent it And I noticed I lost some food somebody sent me!

This is a bug because if you have full mail, you don’t get new mails at all, excluding the story/events ones, until you delete them; When you delete, you start receiving the new ones. In this case that didn’t happen, the message arrived as a story/event one ignoring the full mail status, but is not marked ingame as an event/story one (that stay forever and ignore full mail), but a normal mail with a item.
This happened to me also. I know my mail box was full, since I’ve been trying to get the ‘mailbox full’ hint achievement. Still didn’t get the achievement, and now lost the two emails. Figures, lol!
I can confirm my mailbox was not full. Its actually something i take care of on a daily basis to prevent this sort of thing from happening. Hope this helps with troubleshooting…

I lost my mail too and after the patch I still havn’t gotten the 2 mails. My mailbox is not full.
Same here, nothing received after the patch. I guess we’re not getting them.
