This is the only hint I am missing and I have had 10 messages in my mailbox multiple times on multiple characters and still have not seen the mailbox full hint. I think it is bugged.

I’ve had this problem since shortly after launch, sadly.

Yup I’ve had this problem since start too and now I only this hints for the chieve really annoying.

Same issue here too. Now it’s just sitting there forever in the Summary tab to remind me.

Try deleting any NPC, or ‘from the game’ mails you have, and filling your inbox with mails from players only.

I did this yesterday, and yes had to delete “other” mails so it was only 10 from other players. Achievment done

Wait, it has to be 10 emails from other players? I am sitting there now with 13 emails, but when I open the box, it says 0/10. Last hint needed, naturally…

It is really so hard to write accurate descriptions for tool tips and achievements?

Mailbox is full. Waiting for more mail. Hint shows, does not trigger. I have nothing else but emails from other players in the queue. I deleted story and zone notes-didn’t want to because I referred to them on occasion. Now they are gone and I still do not have the mail hint triggered.

Same thing is happening to me right now. Is this fixed yet?

No, you just have to keep trying.

I used to have this issue and finally fixed it by going into my mail and deleting every single one of them. npc, player and game messages then asking my guild members to send me one message each until it said i had 10.
I would say its worth a try unless theres any messages you have that you really want to keep and couldnt bear getting rid of.
Oh and dont forget to empty any messages of items or money before deleting. (Not sure if its possible but i dont want to be blamed for anything disappearing)

This is a well-known issue. NPC mail throws off the count and keeps the hint from firing. Clear out your mailbox entirely and then accumulate 10 mail messages from players only. You may need to log out and back in at some point in the process too.

I’ve had the hint for the full mailbox happen to me a few times and I do as it asks and check delete a letter but the kitten thing just won’t tick off. I did this after wiping the box clean after each go and still nothing. Anything else I can do or shall I send a ladybug report?

Thank you for your suggestion, just tried that and finally it ticked it off. I clicked the hint box that popped up and voilá. Thanks again.
