Guild Wars 2

I sent 10 gold to a friend (loan) and it didn’t arrive. Subsequent tries with 1 copper also didn’t arrive. He can mail me stuff but I can’t mail him stuff.

This has been about 24-48 hours ago.

He’s not lying. I checked.

Does he have 10 mails** in his mailbox? If so, delete one that is not necessary, and the first mail waiting to get to him should appear. Delete other messages as needed.

** Like, actual messages sent from other players, not the stuff from heart NPCs or the explorer’s society.

I’d try deleting even if you don’t have 10. Have seen mail not come through when mailbox was at 8/10 and deleting worked then.

Deleting other player in game mail might help. Mine was at 4/10 once but I didnt receive new mails. Deleting the 4 fixed the issue.

We found the gold.

He had 5/20 mails which seems to have been 15/10 and then deleted a bunch to show my mails.
