I used a total makeover kit to adjust my height one click lower and it seems as though I’m exactly the same height I was previously. But I’m reluctant to burn another kit to try again, knowing full well Anet’s inability to give refunds or replace items.

Anyone else try adjusting their height down and having it work properly?

Huh — it worked for me! I heightened one of my Sylvaria last night. Also make sure you -cancel- the changes you’ve made if you think something is wrong. You don’t lose the kit if you cancel.

Note that I increased instead of decreased BUT I did see a decrease work when I played with the slider.

When I moved the slider I could see my height change in the preview, but when I confirmed it I was still the same height as before in-game. I know this because I stood next to an NPC that was the exact same height I was and we’re still the same height.

I know people have used it successfully to make themselves taller, so I do I know that works. I just question going shorter. I wish there was a way I could find out for sure without having to burn thru more kits at 350 gems a pop.
