I recently made a male norn character, I haven’t played one in over a year and I don’t recall this happening, but I never played one for long before deleting, so I may have never noticed.
Currently when I am playing my male norn and I mine I get male asura sounds coming from my male norn….I thought it was a fluke (even though it happened a few times) but just now when jumping my male norn, once again, used the male asura grunting sound. I jumped a few times again until he grunted, and it was back to male norn.
Just reporting this issue, I find it a bit disturbing but obviously it doesn’t prevent the game from working.
