I just got me a level 40 Master’s Training Manual, but when I double-click it nothing happens – or does it? I hear a sound but the manual is not consumed/disappear from inventory. Is this a bug or have I used the manual it just has not disappeared??

Open your traits panel and check? If you can put 20 points into a trait line then it worked.

You must use the level 10 manual before the level 40 one.

i have used the level 10 manual already, thanks. Should the manual disappear on use though?

Yes, it disappears on use. If it does not disapper you probably can’t still use it, maybe wrong level or you have not used the manuals before that one.
