Guild Wars 2

So, I’ve 3 zones (Brisban, Dry Top, Silverwastes) which do not show the map rewards when hovering the mouse over the title of the zone. All other zones show the current and other potential map bonus rewards. Is this a bug or is game supposed not supposed to show the map bonus rewards if something (if so, what?) happens?

Could you have hit the weekly cap on those maps?

In the case of Silverwastes and Dry Top, there’s only one Map Bonus; I’m not sure if that’s by design or not, but I’m assuming it is.

As for Brisban, I see the other possible rewards when I hover over its title. So, maybe it is a case of reaching some sort of cap?

I don’t believe it is a cap. My understanding is that the cap is 8000 points and I’ve only done 10-14 events. Tried a few more events and I got the rewards (small scales), but the UI hasn’t changed.

I do not believe it is connected to a cap as well. I did several events in Brisban Wildlands, approximatly up until 20 the last days and while I too cannot see the map bonus reward of Brisban Wildlands, it does not show in case of several other maps as well, for example Queensdale. And I haven’t been in Queensdale for ages besides doing Behemoth.

The bonus rewards in case of Brisban Wildlands are still coming in though, but I have the feeling it skipped the much desired silver doubloon. Maybe that is my imagination though… (Although I am still pretty convinced I counted correctly…). This silver doubloon crap is so kitten … I don’t see a Juggernaut happen for some time :-(

There are no Map Bonus Rewards in starter zones, such as Queensdale. I just received a Silver Doubloon yesterday, from whichever map was giving them. Just sold a bunch of them last week. Lots more in the bank. You might try leaving a ~L20 parked at a chest that awards Silver Doubloons.
