Guild Wars 2

When viewing the map, various icons are missing and have been since I began the game. I didn’t even realize they were supposed to exist until a friend told me about them.
The icons for Merchant, Bank, Trading Post, Asura Gate, and possibly others have never shown up for me. Attached is a screenshot of Lion’s Arch, which should demonstrate what I mean. I am logged in on a Level 80 character.

My primary computer is a MacBook Pro but this persisted even when I logged in to a friend’s PC.

in the map (the one you see when pressing ‘m’), click the little eye icon in the bottom left. tick all the boxes there. the missing icons should appear then

Make sure all options are ticked in the little eye icon (legend) at the bottom left of your map screen.
