I spent most of my karma for an armor set from the temple of melandru, only to discover that there is a bug that wont allow me to salvage them.

This isn’t a bug but intended. It is not possible to trade karma to tradable items. To ge tthis done, armor and weapons bought with karma can not be salvaged.

You are able to forge them, or could last I knew, but most definitely is intended. No kit can salvage Karma armor. But if one can, that is the bug and would count as an exploit.

It is something to keep in mind if you put a valuable rune on it. The only way to recover that rune would be to transmute it onto something else and not keep the skin

lol, that would have been nice to know before i spent 300,000 karma on armor lol. i tossed them in the mystic forge though and got an exotic for salvaged that and got three ectos.

Well, kinda obvious. Any karma bought from any karma vendor from the first lowbie one, you can’t salvage. Took you till 80 to notice?

I never tried before. Why do you think its obvious, the item doesnt say cant be salvaged.
