Megalaser not firing at Tequatl
This is still an issue.
This is a change to the Teq fight, and simply requires an increase in dps during the burn phase. Gunnar’s Hold’s assaults on Teq failed a couple of times after this change, but we’ve recovered well enough and can again beat it with more than a minute to spare.
Sorry that your server is struggling, all anyone can really do is wish you luck and hope that players can adjust to the now-more-difficult fight.
This is not a change, it is a bug.
If it was a change:
- it would have been mentioned in some update news
- the animation would still work
- what sense would the whole megalaser phase make?
We on our server (Whiteside Ridge) have been training for this for over 4 months til our first success. We built a nice community around it, and a core team. We kmanaged to kill it 90% of the time with over 1-3 mins to spare.
Ever since this bug we managed to beat it once, with 2 seconds to spare. We are a small server, less and less people are showing up, so our chances are decreasing each week (we have an attemp once a week).
Fix this bug. Please.
Still no fix, but hey! Why care about smaller servers, amirite?
They did this to prevent overdpsing tequtl. What that means is , they made tequatl far harder for smaller pop servers, and but no difference to organized raid communities.
We are still able to bug teq up overdpsing it , and smaller pop servers still cant beat it due to stupidly high HP.
I hope one of this days they will start to think about everyone.
