Megaserver == more contested waypoints
Are you inside the map? If not then it is working as expected.
That is how they said it will be in the blog post. Any contestable WP will always show up as being contested if you are not inside the map. If you are inside then it will show up appropriately.
I recognized how it operates, however, if you check you will notice that when you are outside the zone more waypoints in the zone you are going to are now contested when they were not before the megaserver was implemented. This results in more double waypointing to get to the desired location than before. Either Anet needs to lower waypoint cost to make up for this increase in waypointing or fix the problem.

Yes, that is exactly how it is supposed to work, exactly how they explained it would work. It is not a bug.
That is great so now when you have the world map up you will have no clue if it is worth going to x place because it in fact may not be contested.. I used the world map to look for contested locations as a clue that an event can be done there…guess not anymore….
