Tried in Magumma in Divinity’s Reach with Ginger Root and Not the Orrian Jewelry Box and neither dinged the karma.

Spent some karma on two items in Divinity’s Reach and it also did not register.

just bought 2 lost orrian jewelry boxes (under 5k karma piece), didn’t get the Karma Spender achievement (750 karma spent).

Yeah, I can confirm this, too. Any karma I spend on any karma merchant is not counting towards the daily.

I wonder if the if then statement being used is looking at the wallet or where it used to prior to the wallet?

Bought a recipe from the tailor master in LA for 896 karma, no achievement.

I just tried buying 2 different exotic insignias (896 karma each) and neither 1 counted.

Just bought an exotic recipe (896 karma) from the tailor and artificer vendor. Neither one gives the achievement.

Purchased a Lost Orrian Jewelry Box but it’s not counting towards Daily Karma Spender Achievement. Rebooted the game and purchased another box yielding same result. Karma is being deducted from the wallet correctly.

I bought 3 orrian boxes and 3 sets of ori pickaxes and no achievement

Also spent karma on two intricate silk insignia recipes just now in Lion’s Arch from the Master Leatherworker, and it didn’t register for the daily. Asked others to try, and they got the same result.

yea same here, bought some orrian boxes and nothing. Might be due to the fact that karma was soulbound in a sense pre-wallet

Totally bugged – just spent 100k and no daily update for 750 spent.

Adding another confirmation to the pile. Bought several Fine Salvage Kits, no daily achievement credit.

Also bugged for me. I sent a support ticket reporting this.

It’s something to do with the wallet.

Yep, same problem here. It won’t gain anything as I buy things for karma at heart vendors.

Will we all get 1 extra Achievement Point since most of us only spent the karma tonight because it was a “Daily”? It doesn’t sound like much, but I know we would all appreciate it.

This seems to be quite a common thing. Players get shafted by a bug and Anets response is “oops, we’ll work on it. We’re sorry”.
Where the “sorry” part essentially translates to “too bad for you”.

Let me just ask this. Kamra spender is small time, to be sure, but if some bug pops up and people start losing their legendary components in the mystic forge and getting no legendary weapons for it all, is this going to be the answer?

Well I guess this is good to know, even if doesn’t help after the fact as is my case.

While I appreciate efforts to keep the game fresh with new content I really prefer Anet slow down bringing out the new content if their current pace of updates is just going to cause the continuing increase in bugs and instability in the game that I’ve noticed recently.

Just spent 200k of karma on orrian boxes and didn’t get the daily karma spender achievement. Bought a trash weapon as well to test if its just the boxes and that didn’t work either. Seems the last patch broke karma spender daily for me. Any1 else have this trouble?

Well – to be fair – this 1 AP bug affects EVERYONE so nobody can get ahead of anyone else. If the suddenly fixed it tonight after I go to bed while another person can get it, is it fair for them to even get it?

But back to resources from ANET – a bug fix may already be developed – but a deployment test can take hours at a time – a minor bug like this shouldn’t really need a quick patch to fix just by itself..

I had the same problem when I tried to buy a crafting recipe for an alt at a master crafter. (In my case it could it have something to do with how much karma was on that alt originally before the merger, but I don’t think that applies to you)

Just tried buying yeast from the cooking vendor in Desider Atum in Metrica Province, and no credit. Guess I should be glad I didn’t spend it on anything more costly. =P
